In-person robotics training for K-12 students using Scratch/Python/C++ programming, right here in Cary, NC.
Curriculum
Hands-on Scratch programming with a real quadruped robot. Students go from zero to controlling motion, reading sensors, and running AI vision - no prior experience needed.

Real block-based coding that drives a real robot - not a simulation. Students see their code come to life immediately.
Program MechDog to walk, turn, sit, and perform custom action sequences. Learn the fundamentals of robot locomotion.
Use distance, touch, and color sensors to make the robot respond to its environment in real time.
Teach MechDog to recognize faces, detect objects, and react - a hands-on intro to computer vision for young learners.
Our Courses
Hands-on robotics training for school students 4th grade onwards - using real industry robots, not toy kits.

Why Hume Robotics
Most student programs use toy kits and drag-and-drop simulators. Hume Robotics uses a real programmable robot from day one.

MechDog - not a toy kit or screen simulation. Students interact with actual motors, sensors, and a camera.
Designed for grades 4-12 with Scratch - approachable for beginners yet challenging enough to keep advanced students engaged.
Code runs on a physical robot in real time. Students see, hear, and feel the results of their programming immediately.
Intentionally small class sizes so every student gets attention, guidance, and hands-on time with the robot.
